Amazing

Breakfast was excellent, beds were comfortable.staff were amazing

Rooms need to be cleaned properly eg moving furniture,sofa and bunk beds to hoover as when I moved the sofa they was toe nails underneath. Alot of dust on the carpets behind the sofa and dust on the carpets at the side of the bunkbeds.

Friendly staff at reception, restaurant and housekeeping as well

Lack of clarity with reception from the booking. 2nd room was booked with a specific request for a twin bed arrangement. But the room was provided with a double bed. There were no staff available to handle the request at reception and was never attended later as well.

Decent Hotel close to Airport

Decent hotel only 10min from airport. Had a late-arriving flight, check-in staff very friendly and children got a little treat, plus we got some drinks vouchers. Nice bar area. Beds a bit too soft and some rooms could do with a bit of updating. Gym a bit pokey, but enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam room also decent. Good value for money and would stay again.

Soft beds. Also seem to have forgotten an electric toothbrush there, which we never recovered. :(

Enjoyable

Nicely decorated, always smelt nice, the rooms were lovely and spacious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good opening hours for the bar/restaurant area which meant we were able to enjoy it.

Dust behind the beds (on the carpet) and paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling.

Good value hotel

The hotel is convenient for those travelling with a rental car and is located relatively close to Edinburgh airport so so it is ideal for those travelling to and from the city centre or areas around Edinburgh. Ample parking spaces but can see it possible get filled up during peak seasons. The staff were friendly and courteous making check-in pleasant. Our hotel room was strangely located but overall ok as we had to take the lift to 1st floor and then go down a small set of steps even though the room was numbered 2XX. The standard double room was large and spacious with a good sized bed for couples and a modern bathroom. Furnishings are slightly aging but acceptable.

Hotel room was still a bit dusty. One of the hand towels provided had black marks on it. No hand towel hanger in the bathroom strangely.

All the staff were amazing, especially Tommy the barman.

All the staff were amazing, especially Tommy the barman. He was really friendly and made me and my parter feel welcome. The bed was really big and comfortable. The room and bathroom was really clean. Really good value for money.

I stay here often and the more often I stay I realise how good the place is and have no complaints.

Booked to return as soon as we got home. Can't wait for our next trip to Edinburgh!

Free parking is a big plus. The rooms are very large and the beds very comfortable. If you book more than one room the staff will try and locate them close together. Uber into Central Edinburgh is about £15. Many local restaurants deliver. The bar staff are friendly. There is a health club although I have never used it. I really must make the effort as I understand the pool is really nice.

Be aware that there are often discos and parties at weekends and the noise can go on until 1am or 2am. We don't care because we usually don't get back from the clubs until that time but it may bother anyone who wants to get an early night.

Worst night stay we have ever had and have emailed the hotel for a refund Place was disgusting and bed was very uncomfy!

Nice hotel

Great sized room with very comfortable bed. The staff are lovely and helpful. The spa and gym area are very clean and also has lovely staff. We only used the bar for drinks but breakfast was fine for the money paid.

If I was being fussy the room had a damp smell initially but was soon gone after opening a window for a few minutes.

Excellent stay over a busy international rugby weekend

Service in the bar was very good. Food in bar and restaurant freshly made and plentiful. Surprised no ale-type beer on draught. Staff worked very hard over a busy rugby weekend, and always very friendly.

Our en-suite was a little tight!

Anniversary Treat

The decor was very modern in the public areas and the bedrooms. When making the booking I made the hotel aware it was for our anniversary and they kindly decorated the room with petals and a towel display which was gratefully appreciated.

There was no step-free access to the third floor. Housekeeping threw sheets down the stairs whilst cleaning which made this access difficult and a trip hazard which was narrowly avoided. The dinner food was massively overpriced for the quality of the food. Room service was denied due to busyness and the order was not even taken nor were we given a time estimation. The walls are paper thin allowing us to hear every word of the conversation next door and also their tv programs being watched until the early hours of the morning.

Heating didn’t work in 2 of the 3 rooms I booked - given electric heaters not ideal considering they were family rooms - not great selection at breakfast for kids and very slow to replenish - reception staff efficient but not friendly - bar/restaurant staff very helpful and friendly

Excellent hotel - large rooms and only 10 mins from Murrayfield

Hotel was 10 minute ride from Murrayfield so great for attending the rugby. The rooms are large, beds massive and really comfortable, with large TV and really good bathrooms. Shower really good. Would definitely stay there again. Staff really friendly too!

The hotel is a little out of Edinburgh so if you want to go somewhere it is 30 minutes on the bus. however the local taxi firm really good.

My friend and I had a meal was very good and Cameron Behind the bar was excellent. He really went the extra Mile .

I did have a room that was next to door on corridor . And I heard people come and go at night and early morning
